Donning the Tux

Well, I'm not usually one for journal entries... but here I am, getting married in just a few short hours and I've run out of tasks to complete. I'm feeling giddy yet somehow bored, anxious, but quite pleased with myself. You see, my high school sweetheart was gracious enough to marry me, and now the day is here, one month before our 10 year anniversary.

Naturally, this last week and a half has been rather stressful, but it's been amazing watching her handle it, all the while, I feel like I've been slowly (but surely) losing it. I wish I felt comfortable spouting off a half-dozen cliches about how incomparable our love is to anything which has come before, how womanly she is, how manly I am, chivalry, etc. but that's not my style, nor is it many people's interest. However, she makes me happier than I've ever been, alone or with anyone else, and that's enough.
